CVR protorque starter 5055 It fits tight, but you can rotate it on the flange to maximize clearance. I tried the equivalent model from powermaster with the same results. If I pull the motor I will cut out a slot in the chassis or cut and weld the oil pan for more clearance in the future.

He used a belt sander; I don't remember which grit paper he used I can find out. It's easy enough now that I watched him do it. You have to follow the direction of the edge of the glass moving the sander up and down the edge, not in one spot.

My windshield was tight it rubbed against the posts, more so on the passenger side. I had to have it shaved by my glass guy.

Sounds like fun! I believe my EFI set up should be fine, the motor ran great with regular headers during the break in and testing. From then until now well that's another story. Like everything else on these cars nothing comes easy it's always a process. Stay tuned! Thanks, Vinny

Thanks for the feedback. I had a feeling that the leakage would be a general issue with other builders. I had them sealed and then tested them again a few days later and they leaked just slightly. I think stabilizing all the pipes with the tabs and sealing them should do the trick. We will see...
