Kim, I mean heat cycles running the engine in the car. Distortion on the weld can be controlled while tigging by welding small sections and allowing to cool before continuing. S

Kim, If you cut up each flange into 3 diff pieces, it may make the system easier to build, but once you get a few heat-cycles into them, putting the system back on will be a bear to get aligned again....... (you would be amazed at how much they will move around) Thicker on the flange makes them...

OP, I went and took pictures today at my shop. The engine IS angled up rear to front. There is at least 4” of clearance between the pipes and rear bonnet fiberglass. I will post pics when I get home and take a measurement of how far the back of the block is from the horse-shoe. S

OP, You SHOULD take your car to the fabricator to have them made unless they are from the same chassis manufacturer you have. A set of headers from one chassis manufacturer may not fit a different chassis without modifications.......... (similar to the replica body parts, they are all slightly...

Steve, Regarding smaller 15inch wheels vs 17 or larger....... The stock corvette front/rear uprights are too tall to clear the smaller diameter wheels. Ask Adern about that as well. Just an FYI, Scott
