Gee guys, that sounds pretty gloomy. I thought CAV or Superformance was trying to form a GT40 race group, event or even take a shot a homologation. That's not a proper fate for a car that loves to be driven hard.

Are GT40s allowed to race in any series in the US? I have heard different people were working on setting up a series or homologation. I'm wondering who is allowing what these days. Thanks, Mark

I'm taking my GT40 and I'm not racing. I should have the final power tune done on the car by then but the tires are only my "sorting and show" tires and are not worthy of the Glen. I was hoping to get a lap or two in to see how my baby sounds at high tune. Nada for non-racers? Grumble. Then...
