Looks like these are the dies needed seen as a Flat dimple did in some listings. For me not going to redo again, going to use my first brackets with no dimple

2nd try, had the hole cut to 2 1/8” dia and used my 2” dimple die. Original had a much tighter dimple.

Hot gluing a welding rod onto the piece then clamping into the break should make a soft bend

Good thought will check the scrap bin tomorrow

16 ga as my water jet guy didn’t have any 18 on hand

I folded my long edges before I used the dimple dies and then they would not fit! In reality holes should be 1/8th in smaller to get the dimple. Not sure if I will redo. Not sure where the catches originated, I bought them from SGT with my chassis

most original my arse! hose clamp aeroquip hose on carbs, wrong sparkplug wires, dont think any of the road cars had the alloy valve covers.... and that is from one photo!

Just picked up goodies from water jet and my catch fits well, will sand and bend tonight
