I got to meet him and take a tour of the Brooklands factory in 1994. It was great to see the Cobra's being bashed out by hand one small panel at time. I wonder what happened to all of the bucks?
Please use better filtration than the one in the picture, I use OEM Ford Motorcraft for my ecoboost 3.5 truck because of the drain back valve is far superior than other brands. I am using Wix as my minimum go to filter for my MG's
So I had a brain fart... My tank is divided at the bottom, flows bottom up due to the baffle in the middle of the bottom tank, then down to the
right side.
I am still trying to figure out how this radiator is going to effectively cool with out being a dual pass design? Now I am questioning my Serck original style radiator and wondering what is it's flow path??
Started doing some GT40 stuff again. Pulled this damaged MK II rear clam out and started glassing up to make into wall art. Can’t decide which livery to paint or wrap in thinking about the red targa car. Not a baby blue fan. Any thoughts?
You are correct Morten, When we milled the knock off's the heat of cutting the threads the fit on the front spindles fine but once cold they were tight. I used lapping compound to get a nice clearance. My hubs were 2.308 front and 2.315 rear so there was no lapping the rears in...Still at...
By the way if you need a complete of spinners I have a set of forged. You need to verify the height of threads on the hubs front and rear as mine were different and my rear hubs are at the machine shop having threads cut down to be the same height as the front so all 4 spinners go on properly.
There is a lot of information here on the GT Forte. Make sure you go through those logs. I also suggest you find a way to make sure you receive all that you ordered up front to assure you do not have delivery difficulties later in your project.
Good luck.
