I have used Evans the only issue is if you have a leak you cannot top off with water. System must be completely dry before switching over.

Don’t know if MGB inertia switches are still available but pretty simple device and you can trigger yourself as anti theft device

Just had a moment of looking at Prestige Motors and both their small block and FE 427's make around 500 horse and 500 torques in a streetable form that a Quaife or RBT ZF could deal with. Going that direction puts you $20k ish in a motor and 20k in a trans and both may live happily together...

the 361 was used in Deloreans and not suitable for over 200hp as I understood. I got a 1 piece main shaft with gears and installed in a UN-1 added the Quaife ATB. This should handle 400hp. The guys at GTO racing in Wales can supply you all this and I would recommend they build your box.

But is the UN-1 up to that kind of power??

Does Audi make some kick ass diesel overthere? Anyone else on a bad ass diesel sports car?

As folks have said you have to find a transaxle to handle the power first before you pick the motor. Then what tire are you going to put on it to handle that power. I think a stroked 351 would be nice. Truly if you have modern cars that zing why are you trying to make a 427 do that...
