    Aged aluminum

    If you keep the car clean, and dry it will look good for many years. Wiping it down with something like wd40 once or twice a year will help a lot. Have you thought about clear anodizing the suspension parts, and clear powdercoating the chassis?

    I wouldn't go the same color body and chassis, it needs some contrast to make the colors pop. I've always thought one would look good in a semi dark silver, with dark blue stripes...

    Anyone have RaceCarReplica GT40 G50 Trans Picture, in an actual car?

    I'm also guessing you have a 4 speed 930 trans which has the large actuator arm on the top, the G50 has no such arm. The RCR 930 rear cross brace is notched to clear it.
