Can you post some pictures of the chassis, the differences between the MKIIA and MKIIB are many.

Yes Ron is correct it is a dip switch for flashing the headlights. From Rare Drive https://www.raredrive.com/gt40-restoration And I believe must MKII just used a three position Lucas switch for turn signal on the dash.
