Costa, if this is / was the Sbarro GT40 found in outside area of Paris, I was sent to look at it to verify that it was indeed an original GT40 , which it certainly was not, and I heard no more from the then current owner. This was in 2011. Frank

No, Robin Batts car is still in the UK , and still yellow ! definately not his car .

Take the slave off the car, pressure test it as is, then machine a sleeve that reduces the bore to either 25mm ( or 22 mm which I use ) and fit a new piston. Pressure test again before refitting. Use -4 Pipeline , not the original -3 . Test on car then fit ali heat shield .

Is KPI and Caster adjustable ? - not sure it is from pics ! Frank

Go back to the drawing board Yon, start again, but first change the selector rod into the gearbox so that it is on the right hand side of the caseing.

Sorry Doug, the system I am showing is to prevent engine fires from pressurised fuel in the engine bay, particularly relevant to carburettor cars, I have seen too many fires whilst the driver is in the car, particularly on start ups.

Why so complicated ? The whole thing can be done for just a few parts and low cost. Instant fuel pressure dump instantly any of the external or ignition switches are turned off, very simple and very effective.
