What a awesome looking ERA GT40 with a big motor to boot!

I can't believe this ERA GT40 has not sold yet! Great manufacturer, right motor with webers and the right color. Doesn't get any better than that. If I didn't already have a GT40 I'd be a buyer.....

How often or miles should you gease (pack) these CV drive shaft bearings on a ZF or RBT?

I have a ZF in my CAV GT40 setup up like this one with the 4:22 final drive. 408 Stroker with 550HP and works great. Car was built in 2012.

My left front headlight cover in my CAV GT40 has a small crack (my fault) and I'd like to replace it. I checked with CAV and they sell the 2 front and rear lenses as a kit only and of course shipping from South Africa would be pricy. Does anyone have a source in the USA that has had front lenses...

Yes......as I was looking for the vintage look and they didn't have AVONs back then. I love the AVON tires as it is a far superior 15 tire for the street than anything Goodyear makes.

The AVONs have two nice indention rings around the outter edge of the tire so I sanded them to get any dirt and tire dressing out then some lacquer thinner cleaning and then just used a blue paint pen freehand. I found the pens on this site that the big rigs use. Worked pretty well...

Beautiful GT40. I parked next to it at the annual Legacy Bank Shelby Meet in Dallas, TX in June 2016 when it was brand new. Original owner never drove it much at all after that and then sold it I believe in 2018 to Vanguard, who I assume you bought it from. Must be like brand new!

Dean finished the car but his interests have changed and he already sold it. Car was at the Mid America Shelby meet in Tulsa with FASTLANE. Came out awesome!

Dean's seats were actually out of a 2005/2006 Ford GT and he found them for sale.

So most every market outside the USA would want RHD. RHD is growing more interest in the USA also as all the original GT40 Race Cars were RHD. If I had a RHD GT40 I would not go through the expensive and hassle to switch it unless my country required it.

Here is a pic at the transaxle (ZF inverted). Not on my car but same Olthoff Racing setup. My car is left hand drive and this setup works great. If I had right hand drive I'd probably use the rods like the original cars.
