    *SPF P2109 for sale* *SOLD*

Re: *SPF P2109 for sale* Wow, I haven't checked this thread in a while.... Here's the deal guys - We needed cash FAST, so I put the car on ebay & CL to raise that cash. All the while prepared to sell the car for whatever reasonable offer I could get - 80k, 85K whatever. Ok, this next part...

    *SPF P2109 for sale* *SOLD*

Re: *SPF P2109 for sale* Thanks for the compliments guys - We decided not to sell it... well not at 85k anyway. New price is a much more comfortable 130k, which is about what it would cost to reproduce this car minus the hundreds or hours making it "right" so you can just hop in and drive it...

    *SPF P2109 for sale* *SOLD*

Sad to say it- This is an extremely nice GT40, with several hundred hours spent sorting the chassis. Nothing left to do but drive & enjoy the car! No accidents, never smoked in, garage kept, etc. This car is very quick - weighing in at just 2,395 lb. and producing 538.5 hp at 5,900 rpm it...

Lower Ball Joints - Sealing & Adjusting

I did find a set of boots that fit very well, but unfortunately I failed to get the part number for them! I ended up going to a local company that specializes in polyurethane bushings, bump stops, etc. & they gave me a set gratis! I was so happy to get something that worked I walked out without...

Lower Ball Joints - Sealing & Adjusting

Steve, The lower ball joint is pretty simple - there's a threaded "cup" on the bottom of the joint that you must remove, then thread the nut back on the spindle to avoid damage to the threads & gently tap it downwards. In my case the plastic bushing rings came out pretty easily by using a...

Lower Ball Joints - Sealing & Adjusting

Swift - I was referring to the pivots that attach to the chassis. I ended up getting a piece of tubing to make a shim for the right hand upper rear heim, it now moves very nicely! No noticeable change in performance, but at least I know it's set up properly.

Lower Ball Joints - Sealing & Adjusting

I'm doing some prep for an up coming event & decided to give the front suspension a complete inspection since I haven't had it apart before. I found a few things that may be of issue- 1) The lower ball joint sealing boot is not the correct size, as you can hopefully see in the photos it...

    Adjusting SPF wheel bearings.

Thank you for the information Dave! 36mm - now I won't have to buy a hand full of sockets trying to find the correct size! :) I've got a pretty complete assortment of pullers & a shop press, is the puller a custom unit for these hubs? And the adjusting nut for the bearings - is this the same...
