Hello together. Some news to the gearbox problem. Quaife sended us a service kit with all new bearings and seals. They said they have no time for doing a service to our gearbox. I disassembled the complete gearbox, changed all the bearings, changed the seals, and put it bach together with some...

Now we got answer from quaife one week after the first mail and a phone call. They guy on the phone wasnt really intrested and said me that they will send some parts. I also had contact with Chris melia. Now we will look which parts to order.

Hello No the base metal is good, only teh bearing and seal is not good anymore.

Hello together :) the body fitting is on the way. First time we put it on the wheels with all the body parts we have.

We will use the car on trackdays. I think its very difficult to get it in any race series. Its only for learning and fun :) We will temper the finished chassis. Greetings from switzerland.

Hello together. The roof is out of the form and on the chassis for a test fit :)

Tonight we laminated in around 3 hours the roof of the car. Next week we can fit it on the chassis. We also machined the door hinges, steering wheel with the paddles and the engine went to do the dyno.

Yes we have that in use.

Hello :) first on the clean surface is Wax. After that comes the mold resin with flocks powdered on it that gives a better holz for the glass layer. Its more expensive but you get a clean mold with laminating ceramics.

Hello I dont know really how its called in english. Its laminating ceramics. You put on first, the mold resin with a little bit flocks, then drying time, after that you put one layer glassfiber and starting with the laminating ceramics with two layers. Thats a mat that you soak with plaster...

Hello together :) The work goes on. We builded the header tank. The brake lines are installed. Also the pedals are in. We also builded the frontsplitter with air channels for the brakes. Also in work are the molds for the doors. After that we cut off the nose and starting with formimg of the roof.

Its a mould for our build :) Its a scanned model scaled up.
