    GT40 insuarance for 2024

Yes they have. I have been told by insiders that too many high end cars are being stolen and too many people are claiming to have their lease cars and HP cars repaired to avoid voiding their contracts from handing back damaged cars at the end of the terms,..... and the industry is loosing money.

    GT40 insuarance for 2024

Hello all, I have just had my renewal quote come through from Adrian Flux. They have hiked my insurance from £559 to £1000 with no explanation. So much for their specialist taylored insurance! Needless to say they have just lost a customer unless they can drastically reduce the premium. What...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello Russell Unfortunately without having the dimensions of the Summit Racing fasteners I could not tell you if they are the same. Dzus fasteners come in different widths and lengths. The original one was about 5/8 inch long hence the 60 in the part number back at the beginning of this thread...

Hello All A bit more ionformation for you, probably too much but anyway here is a chart of the pigtail receptacles and as you can see there a number of different offsets and sizes. https://www.southco.com/static/JDrawing/j-d4-s6.pdf Even I do not know which are used on my car let alone the...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

The 60 of the EFH6-60 part number refers to the length below the head to one side of the helical slot locked position. If you look on Southco's website and dig quite hard you can find the tech sheets on them. The pdf below should show you specs on the Dzus fastener. It is length L you are...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello John Are you after a set of 4 or do you need more, as I need to send them all off to the zinc platers at the same time as there are minimum charges and I want to get all of them done at the same time. Are you happy with the length of the EHF6 - 60, because I cannot get another length...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

OK...I have managed to make a batch. I have media blasted some of them but the compressor electric motor has burnt out so now I have to wait to get it repaired, but anyway here are some pictures. As soon as I have all of them cleaned up I will get them zinc plated. I have yet to work out how...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello Rod I have had them laser profile cut in mild steel, our English spec for the steel is MS CR4 2 In my experience I have found bronze welding stainless steel to be problematic. Also getting stainless zinc coated or chromed over here is a problem too. So I stayed safe

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello Nick I should think those fasteners are original with that part number on them. Southco told me that the part number was dropped a long time ago. It would be a shame to bronze weld over the part number. Some one going for originality might be very interested in them. Adrian

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello James Yes I know they are on the short side. My pig tails have been put on the top of the glass fibre of the front clip with a steel pop rivet going through into a washer. I have been down the Mulsanne straight at 180 plus and they are still there. I know if your body material is thick...

    Winged Dzus fasteners

Hello Julian The Dsuz fasteners in the link are not quite correct as the wing on GT40, and the one I have had made, just goes out one side, not both. I will try and post some pictures as long as they do not get lost again. Adrian

    Winged Dzus fasteners

The Dzus fasteners have flat heads and were supplied under the original part number of EHF 6-60 by Southco who supplied the originals. Adrian
