I got no doubts in the exorbitant costs and agree in your position - but: have you got some more drawings and details of the M1? I would like to do some 3D work in CAD about it and I'm not able to find something more on the net...

And is it worth thinking about a Replika? Or already thought about it when you got the drawing directly available? :thumbsup:

unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the structures of the chassis - how is it build? monocoque? steelframe?

I got another idea about a classic racecar, engines are available in other models models of this supplier, it is very limited in quantity and no actual or high quality replica is available:

I would consider not a fix connection of the two crankshafts because you will never align the two cases 100% stiff and fix with the huge HP and torque load! That will kill the complete engines or minimum the bearings of the cranks. Check those connectors that are available in very different sizes:

It's called 908 Bergspyder, a very lightweith version of the 908 especially for 'hillraces' should be not that difficult to build up due to the few parts needed - but where can a car like this be driven besides the track...
