    Ammeter burning up?

They copied the ford /JW harness from 1966- again if you have a 55amp alt as in a 1965 alternator , then no need to worry - if you have moved forward in advancements in other technology - then you might want to consider a change ---

    Ammeter burning up?

Jims is fixed, one of the first things I did to that car -including upping the gauge of the Alternator to Battery Wire and inserting a mega fuse so if the alternator shunts, the car doesnt have any damage. , -- the key thing here is Alternator Size - if you are running an Alternator from the...

    GT40 vs the Competition

Over half of this depends on the pilot - the main thing I tell my customers about Cobras Daytona Coupes and GT40s ; all the software in *this* car is attached to the 'Nut holding the steering wheel. The modern cars can out brake the 40 for sure - as there is no antilock and no 14" rotors Steve

    At last!

For future reference ; Spoke with Lance this week, the MSO can be 1964,1965,1966,1967,1968, 1969. The years GT40s were made/raced. As I understand, Choice is made when car is commissioned. Your dealer should be able to help you with this , if they seem confused , call Rick Muck , or Lance. I...

    Brake and Lamp Check...Reverse Light

Brake and light inspections in California are based on model year of car - in this case 1966 and newer cars are required to have reverse lamps. If it was marked as a 1965 car , this would not be the case....

    Wiring harness question?

+1 on the GM harness and controller - if not a number of firms can get you set up - I would check in on the ls1 forums for recommendation. On the gauges side - have you considered Speedhut ?

What is the benefit of this hose?

From a water flow point of view-- they might also allow a lesser restriction for coolant movement as they have a space for the water to alter / change directions. If you decide to use them, don't forget the special clamps they sell for these, as some older types of hose clamps can slice the...
