this is great info i think its actually what jason is talking about. and the baud rate is how fast it reads right? ecu flash is evo 8 ecu's and late plastic 2g ecu's ??

no canbus, but the entire ecu is wide open through dsm link if i'm not mistaken. however you are constricted to now proprietary (to dsm link) reader software, and a slower ecu with lower resolution. now evo8, not sure if canbus, but there's another alternative as well which is accessport...

unfortunately i dont have any links those are just the oem mitsubishi tools that they provided us with at the dealerships. and regarding bandwidth i'm pretty sure its there because i've seen it. however accessibility i'm not too sure on. try looking in the evo forums regarding...

also the mut-iii uses something reffered to as v.i.s. i believe... that vis receives input from teh diagnostics ports on the car and then sends info to a laptop with proprietary mitsubishi software on it.

have you heard of the mitsubishi mut-ii and mut-iii they are the oem diagnostics equipment and i've used them as a tech at a mitsu dealership. They do read in real time, so there are good enough signals coming out of those two diagnosis ports. i'm very confident you'll be able to get it.

Jason how are people getting the ecu inputs? Id imagine its through bluetooth obd ii interfaces. Right? But how fast are those refresh rates?

More tgan likely they didnt like the outcome. Or havent had time to finish. Im sure its not forgotten. Too much interest in this car for the company to ignore the prospective demand [sic].. Im eager to see it finished im sure the 2gs will go up in price.

can you imagine if mitsu decides to build an mr2 like turbo car with the evo x drivetrain in 2wd mode with a footprint equivalent to a corvette using all aluminum suspension components like the evo.

ha, something to consider for anyone wanting that kind of trans. i'm sure the steering column wouldnt be too hard to adapt as well.
  17. E

    Superlite GTA

what do you think about that trans leon? using an adapter plate rcr seems to be able to get them done along with flywheels fairly easy. in this case adapter flexplate?? i wonder if the addition of the adapter plate will make it too wide, thats if the oem frame rails are kept or frame lines i...

    Superlite GTA

yes i forgot to point that out it isnt a 4g63 anymore its an all aluminum motor now instead of cast iron block. very pricey too.. but the transmission is pretty cool and can be had for about 3000-4000+

    Superlite GTA

guys just so you know the evo 10 came with a dual clutch f1 style transmission with two input shafts and eccentric output, or viceversa not sure right now. but yeah, true automated manual ( ((paddle shifter)) ) transmission on a 300hp [stock trim] transverse 4cyl drivetrain.

STM: AEM ECU PATCH/EXTENSION HARNESS the solution to all (i really mean some [in this case at least] lol) ecu problems. from this we can also build a 6 or 4 feet extension also to be able to retain stock location for the ecu. btw its about 150 bucks.
