I agree. The DART block, yes, a TON (ok, 21lbs) of extra material vs. stock LS7. I've not heard of crank walk on the DART blocks over 1000hp. The RHS block is +3lbs more than the stock LS7. I havent heard of crank walk here, either, but $400 worth of insurance on a $5K block seems cheap. But...

I dont know if this was discussed, but for those wanting to make a buck, you can do it without a cad program, or, import it into a cad program from paper. take a few plastic models, fill them with foam (e.g. DOW's Great Stuff). Cut the model into pieces. Trace the cuts onto paper. At this point...

Hit send too fast. Also straight cut sequential dog engaged Porsche gearboxes aren't rare and are perfectly adapted to paddle clutch controlled shifting. Nightmare to run on the street. A sequential helical gear transaxle with synchros (street friendly) is unicorn rare or expensive.

Paddle shift isn't difficult. Clutch controlled (no pedal) is. There are kits to convert the G50 to paddle shift. You still have to push in the clutch.
