Hmmm... that is extremely odd (to me anyway)... these are my thoughts:
* Factory Z06 first gear is designed for redline 0-60 times without having to shift into 2nd gear as far as I understand it (you guys are hitting 80MPH).
* As I said before I have the same ratios (stock C6 Z06) and the...
I'm trying to get my head around how the LMP spend most of its time in 2nd gear AND was likely being short shifted. How short is the Mid Ohio track that you couldn't get into 4th gear let alone spend a reasonable amount of time in 3rd gear? What speeds did you guys hit at the top of 2nd gear...
Without a doubt they are burning the midnight oil to get the LMP done.
I feel like a kid at x-mas time... so I'm just trying to figure out if x-mas morning is gonna be this week or next week:thumbsup:
I ordered my SLC February 6/13 and there is alot less $$$ in my bank account and alot more $$$ in Fran's... so... I think that makes me part of the club
I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but the car is going straight to Pahrump, Nevada.
Awesome... thanx Peter.
I look at the way I am going to build my SLC (rather basic track only build) and I just dont see the complexity in it (assuming the right parts go in to start with).
At the same time... I dont want to get cocky and assume I will have it built in 120hrs... so I am...
I know this is a matter of taste... but even if the SLC took twice as long to build as a GTM I would still get an SLC. There is nothing about a GTM that makes me want to bust out the cheque book.
Ha! Found it... In order to protect the innocent (and not get myself in trouble) I wont include a link as this particular build thread is not on this site... but I shall include a quote and a picture
"In short order I discovered that, in its current configuration, the GM wiring...
Hi Alex... thanx for chiming in.
Just so I am 110% clear... if a person:
1) Utilized a DBW extension... there would be no reason to open up the harness and modify it in anyway?
2) Didn't utilize a DBW extension... the only reason to open the harness up would be to pull out additional...
Hmmm... I will have to go back a re-read a few threads. I was certain people were pulling apart their harnesses and soldering in sections.
I hope I am wrong and you are right
