I have seen as high as 300F at oil pan temp in a stock LS7 on track days,not saying what is right or wrong but went the whole summer like that then pulled the engine to inspect and bearings were like new using 15W50 mobil 1. I know bearing clearances and type of bearings are different In a LS7...

Are the rear stub axles in a SLC a OEM part from something or custom made by RCR???

Mine is putting down 689 hp and 680tq When the tires are up to temp and good road conditions you can almost mash it in 1st gear with a Ricardo. It really hooks and moves!!!!!

This may sound crazy but what I did is hose clamped a 5/8 heater hose about 12inches long on the end of the cable and poured 0w20 oil in the end and the screwed a fitting on the hose and hooked up a grease gun and forced the oil in the cable. It really worked well for me.

I was thinking about going to the one here in Wisconsin dells and would like to meet up with any fellow SLC owners that would be going, I only have about 350 miles on the car and would like to go further distances to, but want more time on the car first.

Is there any SLC's on the power tour headed to Wisconsin?

Dont know why but mine has 550 lb with Ricardo and ls7 441ci, rides real good but borderline bottom out. Probably why mine really hooks up. 1st gear you can really lay into it pretty hard before it breaks loose. I would like to try 650lbs and see what happens to the ride.
