Dan's Build

Dan, Is your setup atypical? Why are you having to invent so much in the way of plumbing and mounting? I'm not questioning your decisions as much as I am trying to decipher the challenges involved. According to the Superlite website, they include what's required for the installation: STAGE...

    Pete B's Build Thread

Is this what most people do? I have seen some video walk-arounds of Graz installations that look different, but I can't identify what exactly has been done. I have searched for more pics but have been unable to find any. Any help?

    Pete B's Build Thread

Pete, Do you plan to leave the hole cut in the street tail to accommodate the Graziano, or do you plan to do some fiberglass work to close it up? I guess I haven't seen any finished pics of bodywork with the Graz installed.

    Dan's Build

Thanks Dan, and Happy Thanksgiving. I agree with all of your positive statements about the Graz. If you changed the drop gear ratio, however, they'd be able to remove the extra shaft while they had the transaxle open... just saying. Here is the best info I have on the ratios...

    Dan's Build

Dan, Are you convinced you will be happy with the stock Graz gearing? If you are anal enough to build a Gantt chart and worry about an extra shaft, I'm curious about your logic on ratios. I have been watching to see who will install and document the drop gear setup for the Graz.

    Graziano Transaxle's first gear.

Ed, Did you ever get the Graz drop gear installed and functional?

Eric, I'd love a high-res version of the silhouette as well for computer background if you have a second. Best, Chris

    New transaxles for SLC?

But that is reportedly just parts. I have yet to hear about install costs, but they are supposed to be significant given the complexity and requirement to disassemble the entire box. Anyone have the labor figure?

    New transaxles for SLC?

I've modified the latest gearing spreadsheet floating around to include the 0.7586 drop option (detailed by these guys on a thread on factoryfiveforum) applied to both the V8 and V10 Graziano boxes. I also included a late-model Covette...

    New transaxles for SLC?

I realize this thread is old at this point, but I believe that RX-Heven was looking at the 70 MPH data rather than the requested 75 MPH data. Correct answer for 75 MPH should be ~3650 RPM for 5th and ~3030 RPM for 6th. Compare this to ~1600 RPM in 6th for the normal late-model Corvette Tremec...

Where can I view an SLC in California?

Yos, I found it: http://www.gt40s.com/forum/rcr-forum-rcr40-slc-p4-mkiv/43606-version-graziano-transaxle-use.html Definitely useful.

Where can I view an SLC in California?

I was just able to see Yos' car in Florida during a work trip. Really cool guy and car.

    LS7 vs LS3-480 or 525

Are you able to post a couple of pics of this exhaust setup? Trying to determine difficulty, packaging, heat transfer, appearance, etc.

Where can I view an SLC in California?

Guys, I'm trying to find a way to view an SLC. Is there a roster somewhere to check out? I do travel a bit so can be flexible but am based in Southern California. Thanks, Chris
