    It is. It a GTD indeed. I have the original collectors and piped still as well as a few things if you are interested. I am also going to be changing the wheels and tires for a track set soon. How do you like your GTD?

    Thank you! Yes it is. It came with the headers you see, but I fabricated the straight pipes and v bands and welded them to a new set of collectors.

    That is good to hear! I have just upgraded my UN1 with the GTO Race Engineering goodie package! One piece shaft, 1st-2nd, Quaife LSD. After I destroyed the pilot bearing, and damaged the original 2 piece shaft collet from dumping the clutch and doing donuts in my back parking lot. Oops! I guess...

    thank you Mr. JP. my flywheel is good, i need the clutch pressure plate. the pressure plate disk and diaphram are bad. i need a new replacement. Might those contacts have pressure plates.

    Mike what year were these v6 ESSEX flywheels from? I have the guys at California clutch building me a new set but they are having an issue finding the pressure plate i think.

    yes I ordered the Ford type. but now i have California clutch asking me what year Ford ESSEX v6 flywheel did the GTD use. The pressure plate is too far gone to reuse and a new one needs to be sourced. .

    Hello all. I just purchased the solid 1 piece shaft from GTO racing for my UN1 in a 1" 23 spline. The flywheel I have is the smaller 121 tooth essex type that uses a 9" (230mm) disk. I am in California USA and am having a little bit of difficulty sourcing a disk in that size and need it to hold...

    QA1 12-275lbs. (x2) silver 10x300lbs (x2) chrome $90.00 all 4 or $50 a pair plus shipping. Shipping from Roseville California USA. Both sets are 2.5" ID These are used but undamaged. Chrome 300lbs springs show some aging.

    Working on the GTs trans pics.

    I can measure on the bearing surface itself, the flywheel and the crank bore with the trans out. I will report back. I am suspecting that an .125 of movement in all directions is not good for the input shaft.

    to be more specific. now that the bell housing is off and i have removed the tube. The shaft has .125 (1/8") of lateral movement in all directions with NO in and out movement. The collet and input shaft move solidly together around the main half shaft. it also appears that the pin is still in it.

    trevor, you are correct. although it spins smoothly it is very loose. This is my first experience with the UN1 shaft/collet so i am not quite sure how much movement is normal. All i know is that there is a lot of lateral movement.

    Working on the GTs trans pics.

    New Bronze bushing did not fix the vibration! Trans is back out and drained. oil looks fine, no ugly metal parts coming out. i pulled the bell housing off and the inside looks very nice and the wear is nice and even on the big gear. i will split the case in half to check the inner shaft...
