Does anyone know of a manufacturer of DOT approved laminated windshield here in the USA???? Seems that there is no one manufacturing shields here in the USA. And i dont want to deal with shipping from a foreign country. Please Help!!!!

Did some more work on the 40 this weekend. i cleaned and primered the side pods and moved on to attaching the dash frame. picked up some steel on friday . i then cut some pieces to cap off the ends of various tubes around the frame.

Clamped some tubing to the frame to hold the tubing for the side sill structure this weekend. Mocked up the assembly with the tubes reversed. But i dont see any benefits from doing it that way, seems a trade off. Being that the outside corners loose strength. And to be honest the tubing is just...

If you ever need a big press. Go to a mack or international dealership. Any big truck repair place or heavy equipment repair facility will have a big hydraulic press. And they usually will have a reasonable shop rate for pressing on and off parts. Good luck

I have a 351 roller and was planing on stroking to 408cid. I was told the 408 would be more reliable than stroking up to 427. I think you have to bore all the way out to get up to 427. Whats your thoughts on that? I think 408 was going to be a .030 bore job vs .090 on the 427.... its been a...

Go to rf105 jim cowdens build. His doors have a good anti intrusion bars or door frame work that looks strong. May get some good ideas looking at his door build.

There are some good build logs on here of the gt forte. And the flat pack kit fits together very nicely. Took about 2 months to recieve my flat pack from Darren but im in the usa so shipping took a bit. I look forward to seeing your build log grow.

Inquire to ricky Evans Motorsports for a windshield. They have 10 different tools and offer in heated and bronze tinted for 380 pounds. They also offer in non heated just laminated no tint. Plus if you measure your spyder he can determine which glass tooling will fit.
