This might be completely out on the fields, based on some drawings of the GW head and the fav gulf bracket drawing. With the "gulf" bracket the alternator is really low in the chassis. I guess they used a physically small alternator that probably sat rotated 90 deg ccw compared to this picture...

I would check availability where you live. Some of the gearboxes are getting rare and also starts getting quite old. No point of sourcing a un1 if 01e, 0a2 or similar is more available

Sounds like KVA, they had a mk3. You need to take some pictures of the chassis and post here so someone can confirm, or compare to other members cars.

You will have to do a bit of testing here but generally toe in will eat tires, toe out will in many cases make the vehicle "darting". In my experience the best toe is 0 or just a touch negative, but not much as this will eat tires. Camber also depends on alot of things, basically you will have...

Well, first i would consider what you are going to build. If you are building some sort of spaceframe you can adopt most of the available transaxles. If you are building an original style monocoque your options are a bit more limited. Also what type of shifter linkage, shifter location...
