    Most (more) accurate dash?

Central console is different as they added ignition lock. Different vents. Other than that looks more or less the same? Original did not have that good finish.

Who makes low passenger side alternator bracket?

So i got hold of the dimensions required. The original is 3" between the lug as stated above and 1,75" from the front face of the cylinder head. I am almost done modelling a sheetmetal version and have to make 2d layouts. Should i post it in this thread or elsewhere?

Who makes low passenger side alternator bracket?

This might be completely out on the fields, based on some drawings of the GW head and the fav gulf bracket drawing. With the "gulf" bracket the alternator is really low in the chassis. I guess they used a physically small alternator that probably sat rotated 90 deg ccw compared to this picture...

Who makes low passenger side alternator bracket?

To anyone who has a kit GT40 what transaxle did you end up using?

Renault un and Porsche g50 used to be popular, getting kinda vintage and prices going up. Now if you look into vag 01e, 01x, 0a2 and Porsche g86, g96, g97 etc they all seem to share some components. Some of them just some circlips but still mix and match. One of the main differences is whether...

To anyone who has a kit GT40 what transaxle did you end up using?

I would check availability where you live. Some of the gearboxes are getting rare and also starts getting quite old. No point of sourcing a un1 if 01e, 0a2 or similar is more available

    Barn Find GT40 Replica

Sounds like KVA, they had a mk3. You need to take some pictures of the chassis and post here so someone can confirm, or compare to other members cars.

    Wheel Alignment Specs

You will have to do a bit of testing here but generally toe in will eat tires, toe out will in many cases make the vehicle "darting". In my experience the best toe is 0 or just a touch negative, but not much as this will eat tires. Camber also depends on alot of things, basically you will have...

    Seems to be about 230-240mm

    Roof line?

The yellow/green or something lines are vertical and horizontal lines.

    Roof line?

The roof is a compound surface, so yes; curved. Or are you wondering about that small profile that most of the fiberglass replicas got?

    GT40 CAD project

So, had an idea for quite some time and finally had a go at a rough draft it. Transaxles arent exactly getting easier to come by or cheaper to purchase. Neither does it help that exchange rates etc not exactly points in my direction. So i have been looking into casting a new housing and...

    GT40 Reimagined Build

Maybe gen z? Cool build, looking forward to following your design process. Not sure what your approach is but i like the idea of having the same experience as one would get from an original car. So rhd with will shifter. Regarding engine/drivetrain; not sure on regulations in Croatia but here...

Transaxle of choice to pair with Ford 347

Well, first i would consider what you are going to build. If you are building some sort of spaceframe you can adopt most of the available transaxles. If you are building an original style monocoque your options are a bit more limited. Also what type of shifter linkage, shifter location...

Options for a small, light snailshell transaxle?

Converting it to independent rear suspension or a de dion setup will require alot of effort. Not sure what bits are available in your region; the engine you want to use i believe is in the gm ecotec family, i think the r25/28 box will fit but not sure how available it is where you live. Should...
