    P/1000-W for sale

    P1088 remains in Belgium now. Christophe van Riet (Gipimotor) bought it in the Netherlands from Janet. P1088 was street legal with Dutch registration as Janet lived in the Netherlands.

    Konis or Spax Shock Absorbers?

    I prever Gaz over Spax (durabilty issues). Had mine custom made by Gaz. They gave me a partnumber which Rallydesign used to order my shocks. I could not order them directly at Gaz but they where very helpfull.

    RCR GT40 removable dash

    GTD dash on KVA chassis. I made my dash plug & play and removable. My dash slides in and is screwed to the upper chassis members. I just fibreglassed some mounting points to my dash corresponding to the beams that sits below the dash. A bunch of conectors makes the whole dash plug & play.

    Sure it looks like your balancer/ pulleys are out to far. That balancer should be close the the engine nearly touching it.

    Avon stops production.

    Same here in the Netherlands. At the moment you pay thousants for old stock thats made a few years back. Ill wait till Avon makes a new batch, cause if I have to spend thousants I rather have fresh rubber. Till that date my Nankangs will do.

    What are folks using for oil in their 427FE Side Oilers?

    I am running 15W50 with 1600ppm ZDDP in all my vehicles. I even ad some more ZDDP to it with Cam Shield additive. My oiltemp usualy sits within 10% of my engine temp. High oiltemps thins oil and affects oil pressure.

    Most GTDs where home build and carry an owners added VIN sometimes even caried from the donor car. Unless GTD build the car themselfes I doubt you find a genuine GTD VIN. Most importand will be the paperwork showing its a GT40 and not a Ford Capri or Ford Cortina otherwise getting it roadlegal...
