    Jim's RCR Lola build.

Out for a test drive yesterday and ran out of gas on the interstate. Gage was reading 1/2. Luckily, I was only a couple miles from home and was able to get my wife to bring my Colorado with a tow strap to get the car home (AAA is useless, as they refuse to use a tow strap and their rollbacks...

Actually got to take a ride in a factory Manta when I was stationed in San Diego around 1983! It made quite an impression:) I still have the brochures.

    RCR Spline dimension

Paul, RCR did a fuel tank cross connect line on mine just aft of the lower bulkhead behind the seats. It's tight, but I have all hoses routed above the level of the floor pan so nothing will catch on any road debris. The attached pics are the before and after. I also had RCR install a layer of...

Five cars in a three car garage....

When I bought my Backyard Buddy lift less than a year ago, the steel was U.S. and they were manufactured in Ohio. The other Advantage lifts are a different design. Advantage Lifts took over the operations of Backyard Buddy in September of 2020.

Found a low res converter that worked, but without audio and crappy quality:(

I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on my Backyard Buddy 4 post lift and it is really hard to find a company the does everything here in the USA. A lot of companies claim made in the USA, but in reality are Chinese parts assembled here. Best regards, Jim

Nick, Wish I'd seen your thread earlier - another option for the tight space for alternator mounting is to fab up a bracket and reverse mount it so you don't have to hole the chassis. I went this route and it is working well so far. The Sanderson type A/C compressor will just barely fit along...

1st judged car show today and the Lola took best in show:) Used the interstate coming home and the gearing is not as tall as I thought it would be.

Baby steps - did my initial test drive around the neighborhood this afternoon (5 miles worth) - verified 1st through 4th gears and the brakes work. No fluid leaks:) Did hear an intermittent squeal after it was up to operating temp, so I need to investigate. First impression is that this will be...

Not yet - still have gremlins to chase (fuel pressure regulator leaking, brakes need bled, needs wheel alignment, CV joint boots will not stay on) and a trip to DMV once I get the MSO back from RCR

Made enough progress to get the car mobile while working out the remaining bugs, so today was a good test of the trailer. Got a set of race ramps which worked well with no nose scraping and the car fits the trailer well and tows smoothly. 3 hours each way to VIR for the Haggarty car show today)
