    Alex's SLC build thread

I had them manufactured at a local sheetmetal shop that we utilize at my workplace. I know of a couple small shops in and around Greenville that should be able to help you out. Since my car is just sitting waiting on it's title we can pull my seats and brackets out and you can see how my...

Alex, I have a design for custom seat brackets. We can custom design a set for your seat angle based on what you decide for mounting. Yes, you will most likely end up with quite a collection of parts you decide to not use in your build. Brake lines look good!! Nice work!

Alex, Here are some photos of my brake lines at my front wheels. I ran my lines inside the foot box for the front and the clutch and rear brake lines run on the outside. I have a lot of photos that you are welcome to go thru or I can give you a copy of them all for reference.

The weather this coming week in Upstate SC is forecasted to be nice and sunny. We have been having a lot of winter rain lately. My daughter and I pulled the SL-C out of storage and I plan to drive her to work this week and then down to the DMV to get the VIN inspection paperwork filled out...

I said, what the heck, I'll give it a try and I called my provider for my daily drivers, camper, and boat (I am a frequent customer as you can see). Progressive said, no problem and they now have Michelle's GTO and my SLC insured with them for much less than what Hagerty was (same coverage)...

A little disappointed right now. Just got off the phone with Haggerty, everything was going along smoothly with getting my SLC registered and licensed in South Carolina until insurance. Haggerty does not offer insurance on "this type of vehicle" in South Carolina. Does anyone have any...

Kurt H (hoffkm) SL-C build thread

Even though the car is currently in storage I managed to spend a "little" time working on it today. I attached my custom engraved VIN plate that I purchased off of Amazon in preparation for registration here in South Carolina. My MCO from RCR included a VIN number on it so that is what I had...

We have our first of three SL-Cs in Greenville, SC now. Big shout out to Ian Henderson who was on hand for the occasion and to help unload. My partially completed car is tucked away in her storage unit until we find a new home (apartment living until then) and the project will restart after that.

    SLC in Greenville SC?

I will be moving to Greenville at the end of November. My partially completed SLC will be coming with me and in storage until we can sell our home in Ohio and find either a new home with a shop, space to build a shop, or we build a barndominium. Looks like we will need to start an "RCR club"...

    Alternator & Starter Fuse Question

Joel, Attached is a .pdf file of my primary wiring schematic showing how I wired my car. My starter and battery are very close so I ran a direct wire to the starter with no fuse or fusible link. I probably should have a fusible link but I have had issues in the past with them heating up being...
