SLC Superlite: All In Cost Spreadsheet

Has RCR talked about updating the baseline kit price at all? I assume and increase is coming if it already hasn’t. Separate from any upgrades, transmission, or power plant.

Australian Performance Shop modifying the shocks of the SL-C

Thank you Howard! I'd like to know specifically if they did all that work just for improved track times, or if some of that engineering went into minimizing in-cab rattling and noise. Long shot, but just curious, and curious about overall cost-benefit compared to all of Fran's in-house options...

These are great perspectives to hear, gentlemen, thank you. @robert Jones, is it a Radical RXC? Any specs you can share?

Need help with potential SLC purchase

I do see the difficulties in the "take the wife out" thing. I hear talk about the cabin noise all the time, and I know she wont tolerate it for long. I live in SoCal and havent been able to catch any of these owners out in the wild so I can actually sit in one...and that would aid in the final...

Need help with potential SLC purchase

"you can see that historically most people that buy them don't drive them very much or don't keep them very long." Yo bro. Im saving up for mine. Where do you see this happening? Im interested to see if these people youre referring to have journals or disclosures that divulge why they are...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

Its all good I wasnt trying to jump, just reserve my spot at the most optimal start time. from what everyone is saying, its not going to be a big deal. I'll have way more delays than Frans queue in the big picture its not worth worrying about.

GT40: So when did you actually first put your order/deposit in for the GT40? Like the moment when they said, "okay youre in the queue". Deposit on your next build: How much do they ask for, and what does it get you? (It doesnt seem to be very clear on the Superlite website)

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

Quick question...did Fran ever offer you guys a deposit to insert yourself "in line" early? I'm playing out a specific scenario in my head here: -Customer decides they want to go with Superlite, wants to pay all-at-once -Customer hears about backlog, begins sourcing engine and transaxle...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

I see, its such a classic tale. I struggle with it all the time in everything I do, and Im sure some of the guys here would agree: You have a task or a goal in mind that requires considerations, they could be all manner of things that you have to collect and prioritize. Some have to be...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

Roger that. In hindsight, it doesnt really help anything that I brought it up. Like the others said, this isnt a car with a giant recall department where theres a warranty and youre expected not to void the warranty. It seems like every build winds up being unique even if the order was...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

I love this whole post man lol This part: leaves me wondering, if you had gone with your gut, did you have a backup? Im thinking no, because if you had, those parts probably would have been put on the car anyway. With no recourse in parts, your options were forfeit or "lets see what...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

Anyone have a concern that when Fran and Co. go out searching for "a replacement supplier for parts x, y, or z," that in his rush to demands and get the chain moving again, he makes an honest mistake and chooses a manufacturer that puts out an inferior product? One that might fail at 150 mph...
