    I’m pretty sure that Tunnel port was not used at lemans, it was tuned wedge SK heads. They did not make tunnel port in aluminum. I got my info from Carrol Shelby in the 80’s when I raced with him at Willow Springs Side oiler blocks are crankshaft priority oiling blocks, ie crankshaft first...

    I have had tunnel port complete 427’s also , great engine for pure race and no hood clearance restrictions . I was planning on using this 427 tunnel wedge Lemans combo on my 67 Shelby but they have gone too far up in value so I’m gonna put the original 428 in it.
