Ford GT40 Original and New in October\'s Octane
Never heard of this mag before (am I sad or not? - don't answer that Perrys!), but I saw it at the newsagents. In this October issue (04) there is a 14 page section with good photos on three 40s (MkIII DWC 8G as usual, MkI EPR 525D and the Ford demonstrator which used to be in Linden Green and now seems to have been repainted in a dodgy darker green - unless its just the light!). And a brief intro to the new Ford GT.
I don't think the text adds much to what most of us know about the history already. It explains the provenance in the form of the Ford GT's metamorphosis from the Lola Mk6.
There are also nice articles on a lightweight E-type and Monteverdi.
I expect its a UK mag but the website is www.octane-magazine.com
