Lynn-What year was this Best of Show at Amelia. Hve made it only the past 2 years after a lifetime of planning (Have made it twice to Pebble Beach all the way acroos the country!). There was a Gulf GT40 just out of resto. and one of the Cobra Daytonas this year. Got Dan Gurney's and Pete Brock's autograph! Chip

Chip, I talked to Fran Kress today. With regards to your question on when the car was at Amelia Island: This was with the previous owner. The car was completed in '95 and Fran bought it last year, 2001. He wasn't sure exactly which year it was, but it would have been one of the 5 years '96 through 2000.
