Transaxle for 289

Im rebuilding a 289 for my GT. It will be a pretty mild engine when its done. What is a descent porsche transaxle for my application?

Some may say the 915 would be useable given the 289's short stroke (read torque), but you would be very safe with the 930 or G50 options. I don't know enough about the 901 (used in the 914) to comment on it.

I'd stick with the 930 or G50. The 915 and 901 don't like the torque and the ratio's are not really suitable. IMO the 930 is tops!
