Just got a PLX wideband sensor and display combo (uses standard 5 wire Bosch sensor). Word is that I can hook it up to my Accel DFI and run the car in 'closed loop', thereby merely plugging in desired Air Fuel ratios in the A/F table and not having to fool with VE estimates. Supposed to remove a lot of guesswork/trial and error tuning to get it humming smoothly...which it is doing now, so why fool with it? Maybe it will be better/closer to "ideal"???
