Looking to buy a 05 or 06 Ford GT. Curious to know if there are plans for Ford to build the Ford GT again in the near future which may negatively effect the current values?

According to those supposedly 'in the know' - not a chance. That's been 'the word' for a few years now.

No chance. The car was almost entirely built by Saleen, and that company is essentially defunct, ironically due to the outside investment in Saleen necessary to be able to produce the vehicle in the first place.
