Gt 40 replica

Hi guys im wondering if you can help me at all.......
we have recently been set the task of carrying out some work to a gt40 replica and are unsure of its origins in life, the uk registration is kvw227n,
it also has a chassis plate from the "gt40 replica owners club" with chassis number of gagfpr01643

Any info or specs or even old owners of this car would be great so we can get some insight to the build of this car.

I'm thinking GTD but someone much more qualified than me will be along soon I'm sure.....

No I would say not a GTD chassis. Certainly not a GTD chassis number but on a chassis plate like that it could be a made up one by the original builder?

The pictures show a heavily modified early GTD chassis, possibly one of the Gtd modified KVA chassis that they started doing before developing their own unit.Frank
