Rep Power: 14 | Pictures from Carlisle Came home from Carlisle this afternoon and for all of you unable to see RCR cars in the flesh, here are just a couple of photos. Ron McCall brought his 40 and all I can say is that owner's of original cars would be jealous. Ron did a meticulous build and the Yates engine at 670 hp speaks for itself. It sounded like a symphony. The RCR 70 on display is breath taking. The owner of that car is one lucky person. Perfect, color combination. If your not a fan of the T70, this car will surely convert you. The long awaited prototype, now named the RCR superlite coupe was certainly worth the wait. Built with Fran's expected attention to detail. It appeared to be the crowd favorite. RCR's latest creation, the superlite roadster was equally well received. All right, I'll stop writing and post the pictures now. |

| Re: Pictures from Carlisle The Superlite is beautiful! Maybe a tich lower ride height in the front or a little more rake in it. Probably setup for trailering yet..
The Lola is also a stunning work.. I vascilated for weeks in going with the Lola or the Forty. Now I have my next car in mind!
Ron's car is, indeed, a dream on wheels.. He has set the bar that the rest of us hope to achieve...
Thank you for the pictures! Looks like it wasn't a total wash-out there... |

Thanks for sharing the pictures. The Lola T70 is sure a sharp looking car!
The side stripes on the GT40 caught my eye. I do not remember many with the "Ford" script towards the rear of the car. Time to dig into my library to see if I can find any other 40s that sported the same stripping treatment. Interesting.

So does 1002. That's the car I was trying to imitate.

It had a 4.0L Lexus V8 with twin turbos!!! I think it is set up for many engine combos though.
