Hi Matt, Like you're planning, I had my 40 for my 40th, certainly not a regretable thing to do. Mine's a GTD, greatly improved by some bits and pieces from Fran. Anyways, welcome to the forum, its a very friendly and knowledgable place indeed.

I drove this 'circuit' last year, which is a coned out airfield that includes a long 160 mph straight and a few twisty bits and a couple of chikanes on the return. It was certainly a fun day out. Its open pit lane, so you can stay on track all day if you want to. Good value for money, just dont...

Hi Jason, It would be very nice to meet you and see your GTD if you bring it along. I don't know what other cars are going to be on track, but as it is a test day, it could be quite an interesting collection of race cars. If they can get past the noise test!

Nadine and I are doing a test day at Goodwood 7th April with the Comp Coupe. There might still be available places? You'll need an ARDS licence or sometimes they might let you do it on a Speed A-open. Its 105db, 5 car sessions, £250. Give Goodwood a call if you fancy some track time or come by...

As always, Malcolm, it would be great if you can make it. My 40 is unlikely to be ready for this date, but the Comp Coupe is always up for a 'thrash'. There's also been some interest from a few Corvette owners, so it could turn out to be a nice gathering of Detroit-metal!
