Congratulations to the European Ryder Cup Team

Well done Europe. They seem to enjoy being out playing more than the US team. But,the thing I really liked was the TV coverage. The US coverage of their golf is dreadfull with huge coverage given to certain players and then long periods of looking at a tree, fountain or flower!!!! Surely...

    Travel Recommendations for Italy

Hi Veek. Going from Venice to Florence why not try Modena (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Panini (Maserati) and Stanguellini collections are all close.) Other spots are the lakes with Como/Cernobbio on Lake Como and Stresa on Lake Maggiore are great spots. The Cinque Terre and north to St Marguerita...

Talks between Auto Futura ( CAV GT ) and Roaring Forties

Well said Mark and Peter. I think Robert may have escaped what was known in the wild west as an ambush. I have found in business that if you are dealing with someone with ethics and integrity a non disclosure agreement is not required. Regards

    Two GTDs

My mate finally gave up on the GTD as he could only fit with no seat. The car was sold at the Melbourne Motor Show auction for Aus$67000. The car had some work done to tidy it up. http://www.shannons.com.au/pages/auctions/lot.jsp?id=PQC7A8EC0TAV1CHF

    RF in New Zealand

Hi Ross. Don't ask me. I even forgot to mention that we went to an historic meeting just out of Christchuch with 19 Formula 5000 cars racing. It was great to walk around the pits and talk to the drivers. We drove the GT40 and the Aston into the pits unchallenged where they continued to attract a...

    RF in New Zealand

Russ. Thanks for your comments. We had a riot of a time over there. The roads are outstanding with few cars. There were other groups from overseas. Bentleys from the UK, SS Jag replicas also from the UK and a lot of Harley's from the USA. A couple of the Harley guys were killed on the roads and...

    RF in New Zealand

Email today said the cars have arrived safely. But another email from the organiser said to bring a car cover to avoid the car being eaten by parrots called Keas. It will be interesting to see who feeds off me first, the police or the native fauna. Regards

Thanks Russ. Sounds good. But my car is fitted with a speed limiter, also known as "the squeak in the passenger seat". My wife is far more efficient at law enforcement than any police force I have ever come across. Regards
