I was fortunate enough to attend the Ryder CUp match at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts in 1999. Back then, as now, I was less than impressed with the team play of Tiger Woods. Outside of singles match play he's a liability for the US team.

My hat is also off to the European team. There was some spectacular shot making the last two days. We got trounced. Maybe next time...

 

Well done Europe. They seem to enjoy being out playing more than the US team. But,the thing I really liked was the TV coverage. The US coverage of their golf is dreadfull with huge coverage given to certain players and then long periods of looking at a tree, fountain or flower!!!! Surely there must be something happening on the course? Regards
