    death of a dream....

All, It appears less and less likely that I will be able to live the GT40 dream. My deposit has sat at ERA for approaching 6 years now and after being financially steam rolled by building a house, 3 daughters, work... , it does not look good. If OK w/ the ERA gang, I would consider working...

    If it wasn't a GT40...

For fun, if there were no GT40s, what would be the object(s) of desire that you would realistically try to make yours? A list of two or three is acceptable. No boundaries as to what you can pick except the items need to be realistically obtainable by you and your means.

    Wheel manufacturers

Will someone be kind enough to list what manufacturers are making 6 pin BRM and/or Halibrand knock offs? I've read about time and cost issues, fitment issues and runout issues. Are there any people doing a timely and good job anymore? I've little hope for low cost wheels. Thanks, Scott

Earlier this fall, I encountered a genuine 289 cobra in Appleton, WI and thought I was living right. Yesterday, as my family traveled back to Wisconsin from turkey day in South Dakota, I noticed a very large propeller sticking out from behind a building about a 1/4 mile off the highway just...

Safir trying to trademark GT40 shape???

Just read this in my latest Autoweek. Apparently this would put them in position to collect royalties on each GT from Ford. If the trademark goes through, any ideas on the implications for replica manufacturers and consumers? With Ford in hand, would they bother pursuing the replicas?
