You know folks, it's only going to progress to that point eventually. Look at the progressive evolution of society: from small wandering bands to tribes, to feudal estates / monarchies, to isolated societies living under one common set of laws... What's next? One big happy fun-loving society for the entire planet! It'll be great! Just think - on society with something going on 24 hours a day! A big party!

drove one. Great handling. Nearly got run over by a speeding Smart car. Yes,they are slooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Bob, you may be correct or may be incorrect. We don't know the time or the place. I am concerned that we will see Sharia before we see a unified banking system under world control. An old acquaintance, who retired from UNICEF, said that (in one of his administration jobs in the Netherlands) that the politics was terrible and too difficult to work under. I can imagine just how corrupt a global bank could be if left up to our human frailties.
When least expected, but for the Pope to come out with this does make one ponder!
I had a Fiat 850 Abarth in the early seventies, and it very nearly killed me in Colorado! What was I thinking??? Snow, mountain roads, rear engine, piss poor engineering!!!
I think the Pope is looking after the interests of the the Lord, and showing solidarity with the poor, which is his job. The church supports the global warming theory (which many do not), a one world bank, and the UN in an effort to bring people together. And he is showing those to the support these ideas and institutions that he is with them (and opening himself up to who they are). He also opposes socialism as it kills the individual.
Its very conflicting. The global warming thing has only made it more expensive to grow food, a perfect example is the use of corn for ethanol. He is against socialism, but supports the UN which is decidedly a tool for third world dictators and communists since inception. A one world bank surely says it all, doesn't it?
