This came up in the SPF forum where it's being dealt with as a plastic add-on, but I'm interested in what the original parts were: There is a cover over the inner bearings of the front upright that is retained by a 3.5" circlip and uses some kind of seal. Can anyone tell me what the seal is or looks like?
Here are the part numbers:
2/4138 3.5" circlip
4/4020 front hub dust cover
4/4016 front dust hub cover oil seal.
What's the seal? An O-ring of some kind?
