screen that allows me to tuck away out of vision unless sitting in seat.

Did you have to shim the bottom of the spider (under the windshield) to tweak the shape of the windshield opening?

Yes, only the corners. I also heated the top corners a lil bit to bend adjust. Once cooled it stayed in place.

First Drive today. After realizing how horrible the vision is in this car, just getting it out of the garage I decided on not to make a video with everything going on watching gauges, the road etc. I will make one next trip lol
Did I mention how horrible the vision really is in a GT 40 lol;)

Hi Joe. I had the same problem with the starter Kennedy (KEP) supplied. It wont turn my engine. I talked to Brett from KEP about this. The starter they use at least for my combo ( BBC to 997.1) was from a Toyota Hilux with 22R engine. KEP was not able to provide me a much stronger starter. I looked and I found a starter made by Mean Green. Its for a 1984-1993 4 runner 2.5 KW gear reduction starter. A perfect fit for mine. It started my engine with no problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Sammy, do you have the PN for the Mean Green 2.5KW starter? I will be running the KEP adapter and a G97 transaxle too. Thanks in advance, Ben

This is the starter I got for my small block Ford / 997 KEP adapter. Strong starter and I believe it is also from a 90s Toyota 4 runner.

How does your hood fit? I have a single snorkel that fits so bad, I’m gonna get ahold of Chris and see if I have a bad one/wrong one. Shape is off, hood won’t fit over the lip in the opening, warped, round peg- square hole, etc. Did I mention that the fitment is bad? And I’m used to working with repop restoration parts from China!

Im sure he’ll make right. My body is very good as far as the gaps and way i received. Hood fits good aswell. My biggest hurdle was getting windshield to drop in all the way without gaps in between but got it. I also have the gray body not sure if different on who made it.
