Making a Shape out of Fiberglass?

Making an open trailer aerodynamic is not easy. A couple of suggestions...

1. Is the white box full? Though not cheap, replacing that will something accessible from the top

Ummm yeah, it is full. That is my tool box and sleeping compartment, complete with AC, TV, radio, clothes storage, etc.

Ron,

Try putting a two stage( higher at the back) Lear Cap on the back of your truck. My friend Pete also had a nice insert with table and seats that folded down to a bed.

Lear 122 Model. Wind deflector and covered storage. Also loose the ramps on the back. Run them parallel with the sides of the trailer. They are just like sails the way you have them. Or you could cut them in half and hinge them so they fold out flat.

I figured, but it is essentially a big sail (even painted white to look the part).

You could buy some plywood and make a bed cover, then fabricate an air foil that deflects up and to the sides. Easily removable when not towing.
