Ok I am kind of pumped about this.

There is NO way that this will happen. None. A copy of the Ring would be totally uninsurable in the US if you let the public run it. The idea that the US car manufactures, who already have their own private test tracks, could make it economically feasible is silly.

The US weather is a detriment as well. The Ring is the Ring because of the weather. We've raced there when in the same lap we've seen rain, fog, damp, and totally dry and sunny. At night it gets so cold that we ran SUPER Soft tires. The idea is totally stupid and it will NEVER happen.

I've also raced the Targa Florio (Historic) and the Ring is nothing like the Targa Florio.
