Roaring Forties #103

Ron,
When I did my BRX in '99 they come and examined all the paper work to make certain their is doumentation of all the components of the car. They examine the car to make sure it meets NC safety features. It is registered as a Custom whatever year you do it. In April '08 it will possible to register it as a copy of what you are duplicating. Like a Copy of 1966 GT 40.
the process is very similar to the rebuild of a salvage vehicle. It is done by the DMV inspector for your area. I am sure you read about the problem in Fayetteville about falsifying what the car was.
Any body shop that rebuilds salvage vehicles can walk you through the process. Hope this helps.

Hey Jim,

I'd be excited to hear about your registration experiences or a how to for the state of NC. How is the car driving?
