I wonder how many Americans realize the anthem has four verses.
Verse 4 has some relevance today and, I think, should be sung every once in a while, if just to break the monotony.
O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation.
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust;”

Judging by the effect that Hop Hip and Rup music has had on most Western (and many Far Eastern) cultures I think it should be re-written by the Snoop Doggo Fitty Cent Bro Yo How's it Hangin' in Da House Massiv with some modern idioms.
Like Diss da rag 'n I'll smack up yo bitch
