Hi Abraham,
Looking good. Having had to ‘adjust’ the position of my front indicators during the IVA test, looking at the position of yours, it worth re-checking them. They have to be a maximum of 400mm from the side of the car. Note the rear is wider than the front , which I’d overlooked this when I did my checking. Also the size of the indicators used, may give you issues in masking the headlamp beam

I’ve got a nice IVA complaint padded boss to fit a Mota-Lita steering wheel if required

Regards,
Andy

over due update
car vent off for its iva in june 2014 and passed
made a few changes to exterior and interior

I would like to add my congratulations also on a superb build, bearing in mind the extremely restrictive space you had to work in. Owners of barn sized garages/workshops take note! You have no excuses now.. :)

Englishmen in their sheds :laugh:

IMO enough to be worth it!

Even with pre-cut panels there are hundreds of hours worth of drilling, gluing and riveting. I've not kept track but I mean I spend two solid days this week and finished off 5 panels. At that rate and taking Tornado's "39 pre-cut panels" as a guide plus another day for the floor and two days for sticking the lot down I make that a minimum of 19 dedicated extra days worth of work on a space frame over a mono (which is probably a hopelessly optimistic amount).

Then it boils down very simply to how much is your time worth? I always take my "overtime" rate as what "my" time is worth and base my decisions around that.

I'm steering towards the Aluminium mono chassis from Tornado. Although i'd like to fabricate and build more from scratch from a space-frame chassis, the reality is, I would need to get through the project quickly. It's early days yet, I'm probably a year away from any build yet. Thanks for the heads-up om the rivets ; )

Does any one have a wiring diagram or have experience
Wiring up 83/84 rx7 mirrors tried using the search
But had no luck
Many thanks in advanced
for any advice or help

Cool, good work team. saved for future use

haven't got my mirrors to hand to check, but does this sound right. just trying to understand the wire colour codes.
I will dig mine out of the box when im out in the shed next.

LgY = light Yellow wire? or Green/Yellow
LgB = Light Blue wire or Green Blue?
LgR = Red?
B = Black?

what is Lg? on the left hand mirror.
