Coker Tire Firestone Gold Stripes

Anyone have impressions/experience with the Firestone Gold Stripes offered by Coker Tire?

I just finished reading the Motor Trend Classics Winter 2012 edition article on the restoration of #P1032, which referenced that these tires were used as period correct replacements.

I am contemplating ordering a second set of wheels for my #P1046 Amon/McLaren Replica (SPF #P2270) and mounting these for shows and around-town cruising, keeping my Avons for the more serious ventures. As these are not cheap ($382.00 USD each for fronts and $469.00 USD for rears), I prefer to make an informed purchase.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

I'd check the sizes very carefully. They are not correct for original P4 tires not sure about GT 40 sizes. I also would be careful about their speed or lack thereof rating.
