Gen-z 40

More updates could help ease the concerns. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. Can we take a moment for some clarifications? Arden was sold to a different gentleman and Genz40 is a different initiative; right? Genz has been working on some cars; there are some images of frame and body work, but no information about a completed car so far. If any manufacturer in the site needs help with websites and graphics; I’m willing to help as long as we see some more kits being made and a rebate for me.

Based upon what they say onf FB about the photos of the spider (see below), I think that is as far as they've gotten (no completed cars yet).

We test fitted the Spider & dash - took some new pictures while We are working on the suspension.

(I am not in any way connected to the GenZ 40, other than someone curious abut their progress)

Andres seems to have stated it better than me. It is a colossal effort in this day and age to get a business off the ground and keep it running, especially in a niche as specific as this.

At this point, a clarifying post from them would be nice, and it seems that Kyle is affiliated with them. Is that accurate, @SoFlo ? What is going on these days?

I fully support being cautious with $'s, just as much as I support someone trying to bring another option to market.

(also not connected in any way to GenZ 40)

No.

The guys out of MI/MN (I think right location) bought from Chris.

The Gen Z is out of SC.

I’m just a dude trying to make 2-3 cars a year. I’m a little further behind than them all. But I’d prefer to only provide a roller chassis with body fitted. I’m spending a lot of time making sure the body and molds are perfect.

Kyle I hope you make it! If you have time post your progress, more gt40s are not bad for this community.

I received a message from the owner of gen z today. A few pictures which I will post here but nothing looks very far along. Hopefully they will get things off the ground but I am staying sitting on the fence for now

I agree with previous comment about possibly trying to fund R&D with orders. I guess this is not unusual practice unless the snowball rolling down hill gets away from you. By no means making accusations. I hope the hit it out of the park. Would be great to have another builder in the states. I am just being cautious

The photos with the MK2 rear clam and the MK1 rear are from April of 2025. Those are stills from the video on the Gen Z Facebook page from April. You can hear Ozzy playing over the radio.

The photos showing the more finished space frame with suspension components is within the past week according to their Facebook page.

Marc, I 100% agree. He has been saying that since 2021. Please see post 20, where I linked the post from him about when they would be available.

Just my thoughts, others will have their own opinions.

Regards Brian
