I like american V8 better. Better looking engine, no a lot of plastic for example! Clean and VERY nice looking if You have injection with 8 "trumpets"! :-)

While I realise that on the 302 the pipes run clockwise as per the dizzy, crossing over every other cylinder ie: the left collector is 5-2-3-8 ,the right collector is 1-4-7-6 as far as I am aware , My question is, would using this system work for a SBC or LBC or even the Rover V8...
So newer engine than 1979 is to prefer?
Why sometime call the engine 302, sometime 5.0? Does it have different bore and stroke?
What years did Ford make the 302/5.0?
Does 302/5.0 like revs? I'm thinking about bore and stroke.

Thanks a lot for all 302-info!
Want to know more!
Are all Ford 302 the same? I thinking about bolt pattern for starter, flywheel, cylinderheads, headers, waterpump, intake manifold etc.

Calle,
Do Sweden have emission targets based on your of engine? If so, this may sway your decision. In the UK any block pre August 1, 1975 only has to have a visual smoke test.

Emission control in Sweden if You build car by yourself (replika etc):
- if You have cat...
I suppose -87 and newer engine have fuelinjection?
What carb and manifold are suitable to begin with? Before changing camshaft etc for more horsepower. And before I have more money at the bank!
